- (fl. 2950 BC)High official of King Denof Dynasty 1. His large tomb (number 3035), excavated at Saqqara, has been ascribed to the king but is now generally accepted as that of his chancellor. It was discovered by Cecil Firth, a British archaeologist working for the Egyptian Antiquities Service in 1931, and was cleared by his successor, Walter B.
